The Chili River is located at the foot of the Misti Volcano located about 25 to 30 minutes from the main square of Arequipa, where the beautiful Chilina Valley is located, in this part of the river flows without pollution, forming impressive walls of volcanic rock.

In the Chilina river you will find sections with rapids from level I (basic) to level III (intermediate) and 2 rapids of level IV (advanced).

Between Charcani – Carmen Alto: The descent in the river is for a stretch of 6 km, which lasts between 1:30 to 2:00 hrs. All in the Chilina Valley with an excellent view of Misti and Chachani, with Class III and IV rapids.
Chachani Circuit: It is located near the Misti volcano, this is ideal for those who are looking for quiet emotions, the descent is for a stretch of 6 km, and is a fascinating tour in Class I and II rapids for about 1 hour and a half,

Day 1: Rafting in Arequipa - Chili River

Passengers are picked up at the coordinated time and place (hotel or travel agency, at the fence or on the way to the river).

We will make a stopover at our place of operations, on our way to the Chili River, where our staff of guides will be waiting for you and you will be given your equipment so that you can change into the appropriate clothing to enter the river (we recommend that you bring a small backpack to store your things while you go down the river).

How to get to Arequipa?

In order to start our rafting tour in Arequipa or rafting in Arequipa, it is necessary that you arrive to Arequipa for this you have 2 options to get to Arequipa:

Flight to Arequipa: flights to Arequipa always depart from Lima, you can check if from your location you can take a flight to Arequipa,

Bus trip to Arequipa: If you are in Lima the trip will be tiring, it is approximately 20 hours, but you can choose to take our Tourist Package from Lima to the South of Peru, which will take you to Arequipa visiting the area south of Lima, if you are in another destination Cusco, Puno, you can choose to take this route as they are 8 hours of travel and there are alternatives with guided tours, consult for more information.
